Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Folio32 (folio32.com and app.folio32.com), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What Folio32 is — and isn't
- Folio32 is a private, self-reported requirement tracker, patient-pool organizer, and case trade board for dental students and residents.
- It is not your program's official record. Your school's or residency's own systems are authoritative for graduation and credentialing; reconcile against them.
- It is not a medical record system and must never be used to store protected health information. Patients are represented only by private case codes and initials you choose.
- It does not provide medical, dental, or legal advice.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password to yourself; one account per person.
- You're responsible for activity that happens through your account.
- You must be at least 16 to use Folio32.
4. Acceptable use
- No PHI. Do not enter a patient's name, date of birth, chart number, or any other identifying detail anywhere — including free-text notes.
- The trade board matches procedures, not patients. Actual case handoffs, patient consent, and scheduling happen through your program's own processes, under its rules.
- No unlawful use, no misrepresenting your log, no harassment, no scraping, reselling, or attempting to break the service or access other users' data.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your data
What you log is yours. You give us only the license needed to store, process, back up, and display it in order to run the service. You can export your data at any time and can ask us to delete your account.
6. Beta, changes, and price
- Folio32 is in beta: features may change, and occasional downtime or bugs are part of the deal. Keep your own export of anything critical.
- The service is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, we'll give clear notice before anything is charged, and you'll be able to export your data and walk away instead.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that your self-reported numbers match your program's official counts.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Folio32 and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or academic outcomes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using Folio32 and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, with export of your data available where practicable.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
